Shangri-la

I see pretty cars go by,

Shimmering in the heat,

The open sky reflects blue,

Beckoning from above.

I see noisy motorbikes go by,

The rider thundering on,

Somewhere awaits his lovely girl,

Beckoning from afar.

I keep walking past life,

Missing the bridges of destiny,

My kingdom is not of this world,

And I keep walking, wishing, dreaming.
