Eternal Springs

I thought I had known the questions
I thought I had all the answers,
But it overwhelms me now
The more I learn, the lesser I know…

I keep wanting to fall back
On the old ways of the familiar and known,
But life moves away from all this
And there’s no room for the luxury of comfort…

Fraught with worry, despairing the change
But, there’s no respite,
I just have to keep fighting on…
Living on…
Dreaming on…
And maybe, someday
I’ll have it.
