Mixed Bag of more Triveni

Khamoshi ki goonj kitni tez hoti hai,
Andar ke khauf sab bahar aa jate hain...
Kharraten kahan bure hote hain

_____________________________________________

Hum unse kya gila karen,
Jab apni himmat ne jawab de diya...
Shishe ke tukdon mein ab aks bhi nahi jhalakta

_____________________________________________

Hum chalte rahe apne anjaan safar par,
Hath mein hath muqaddar ke...
Kya karen jo kabhi street light kharab ho jaye

_____________________________________________

Har roz zindagi kuch yun guzar jati hai,
Jaise rail ki raftar mein ped...
Bas chand lamhe churakar foto me kaid kar rakhen hain

_____________________________________________

Andhere mein bhi ek amulya sa akelapan hai,
Jahan man ki baaton se roshni chamakti hai...
Kahin hum yahan khoj mein bhatakte na reh jayein

_____________________________________________

Man ke khayalon ke khazane se,
Kai jazbaat alfazon mein dhal gaye...
To kya hua agar unhe bas dosti ka naam de diya

______________________________________________

Dil ke wo nishaan jo aankhon mein jhalakte hain,
Laal syahi se humne shabdon mein dhaal diya...
Hawa se udkar rakh bhi firse jal jaati jai

Dipti, this is brilliant! I am truly impressed. Wow... I love the Triveni form, by the way... I love the way it illustrates the depth of meaning and the slant of perspective one single line can create.

nice stuff here.. beautiful. i will need a hindi dictionary to get it all though, but good enough a reason to relearn our national language :P.

a few days back i came across some poetry by a japanese poetess.. some 2000 years old.. such beautiful stuff. it was similar in structure.. though in 5 lines.. not koans, thats something else all together, neither the other form of japanese poetry which is a bit longer.. gosh, i can't find it now :(

You should read the stuff (Triveni) Gulzaar writes... my God its amazing.

The only Japanese poetry I know is Haiku... which I haven't tried yet :)
