Farewells

One last look behind the clouds,

One last dance in your arms,

One last kiss stolen from the makers of fate,

One love chanced with no expiry date.

 

One last night of togetherness,

One last sigh of passing,

One chance taken and survived,

One dream lived and fulfilled.

 

One last walk within your walls,

One last touch of madness befalls,

One and two years frozen in time,

Infinite memories, friends- all mine.

 

The last goodbye, the last farewell,

And wishing it never ends,

The last journey on the road,

A moist witness as the chapter folds.
