Luminescence

 A peek of romance chances through

Lighting up the night,

Silver and shiny and oh so pure

It fills the world with light.

To brighten all of one's nights

Silent but surely, there,

Assuring with its calming presence

Clearing up the air.

Giving hope, and the feeling of safety

Of being loved and loving,

Shine on oh my darling moon

You moonlight everywhere.

Fugacious Innocence

Sleep on my child the night is young,

The wind gently fans your face..

There's no care or worry in your heart,

To tempt and steal you away.

No chores to finish and labour over,

No unfinished dreams at hand..

Not even unmade plans of life,

Or care for what tomorrow brings.

Sleep on, oh my innocent child,

I'm here to shield your world..

Dont grow up before your time,

Live on in the glory of fun.
